What if we had mutants get power uped, since humans and mutants are suppose to be KOSing each other, I believe there should be more to mutants to make them scarier. To make them so people will actually want to play as a mutant.
HOW TO MAKE THEM STRONGER
I believe the other mutants should be faster than an average player while the fire mutant should just be as fast as a player.
They should also have some decent form of attack, like the attack speed of using fists.
Maybe more health could be a good possibility
They should have some way of earning money. Maybe there could be random scrap piles in the mutant homes that they can scavenge through to make money.
The ability to regenerate health on themselves or maybe another way to make health like consuming zombies or people.
A bigger variety, like stalker mutant, a mutant that is someone invisible and the opacity increase the more it moves. Standing still it's opacity would be at 1%-5%, while sprinting it would be 20% but it could be fairly weak.
The ability to make things. Maybe we can set it up so Mutants can set up there own colony. They can have the ability to build things not with Physguns though but with already made homes then they can craft things by scavenging and making them using scrap piles or scavenge boxes or maybe I can design the homes with regular walls like I did with the Antlion King base.
HOW TO ENTICE PEOPLE INTO GOING TO MUTANT BASES, BEING MUTANTS, AND CAUSING MUTANT AND HUMAN WARS
Maybe we can have that infection event you were talking about Joda, where the mutants gain a viral disease once every full moon and they can change others into mutants.
What if scrap piles can be scavenged my players too, and there would be a lot of scrap piles. But then the mutants would have to defend their homes against the scavengers.
What if mutants could set up traps too or build stuff like wooden walls and barricades to block others out
What if mutants could raid and unlock fading doors as if they had a lockpick but instead they would be bashing on them to break them down.
What if Mutants could consume or kill zombies?
Maybe some mutants might not have claws, maybe some might have hands and primitive weaponry like knives and crossbows and maybe a few special spastik weaponry like the melee ones or the Hammerhead.
What if we made it so a few NPC mutants could be placed there. They won't do much and they would only chase after those who come close and aren't mutants but they would also stay in the mutant homes
A trap the mutants could use is a barnacle and rope, so they could place down rope so it would look like a barnacle tongue and they can't tell which is which or maybe they can make head crabs too.
