When you start the game, being new from the start, you will have only one job available which is scavenger. With the scavenger you should look for scavenge boxes and keep on searching through them until you find a weapon or two of value or even a few weapons dropped by the zombies would be nice. It may be time consuming but you need a form of arms to defend yourselves for the next step. Crossbows are also great weapons to use as they deal 100 damage and you can use the glitch to replenish the ammo.
So basically this is how it'd go step by step.
1. Scavenge the scavenge boxes and kill zombies with your handgun and knife. Rank up and find weapons basically (FAS:2, Spastik, or a Crossbow)
2. Find a suitable place and build a decent base upon which you can defend yourself and your items in
3. Buy money printers and keep an eye on the place, money printers are the mainstream form of making a lot of cash, be careful though. Use whatever weapons you found in step 1 to defend yourself and your printers and people will try to raid you for the printers
4. Continue making money, getting weapons, and ranking up
5. Do extra things afterwards, like doing jobs, buying vehicles, helping others, joining organizations, building buildings, or even flying helicopters. There are plenty of things to do in the server, just learn to have fun and remember to follow the rules.
