Helicopter list and descriptions
Robinson is super easy to fly, a very small target, but has no guns and can only fit two people.
Hughes is very easy to fly, very fast moving, can fit four people, but has no guns, and has a large nose dip.
Little bird can fit four people, but moves too jaggedly and has a huge nose dip along with no weapons
Armed little bird has guns and missiles but can only fit two people, has all the same problems as the regular little bird, and the weapons are just for the driver.
Sea knight is fairly easy to control, can fit eight people, is well balanced, but has no weapons and flies a bit too fast.
Chinook can fit nine people, but is rather hard to control and seems to be very slow and has no weapons.
Longbow is very easy to control, has guns for the second person and missiles for the driver, and is easy to land, but can only fit two people.
Viper has missiles for the driver and guns/homing missiles for the second person and is very easy to fly, but it can only fit two people.
Falcon is relatively easy to fly and can hold five people, but it has no guns and has a heavy tip.
Black hawk can hold seven people and is fairly compact for what it can hold, but it's a real pain to fly.
Venom can hold six people, is fairly compact for what it can hold, has missiles for the driver, but isn't that easy to fly.
Sea stallion can hold nine people is very fast moving, but is rather big and has no weapons.
Pelican is really easy to control, can hold nine people, and has no propellers, but is huge and has no weapons.
Eurocopter has missiles for the driver, guns and homing missiles for the second person, and is fairly easy to control and land, but can only hold 2 people and is loud.
Havoc has rapid fire missiles with high ammo amounts for the driver and homing missiles/guns for the second person, along with easy flight control and fairly fast travel, but it can only hold two people and may turn a bit fast for some people.
MI-35 has missiles for the driver and homing missiles/guns for the second person, but is very hard to fly and only holds two people.
Hornet can hold three people, has no propellers, has guns/missiles, is easy to fly/control and is extremely small, but the weapons only work for the driver.
My recommended choppers:
Non-VIP: Robinson for 1-2 people, Hughes for 1-4 people with a bit more money, Sea Knight for large groups that can bail out fast if the chopper gets shot down, Longbow for attacking purposes.
VIP: Viper for offensive purposes with a low budget, Pelican for transporting lots of people fast and easy, Havoc for offensive purposes with a high budget, Hornet for the small group that needs some offensive capabilities along with transport.
Controls:
Go to the Q menu, then the options tab, then under "WAC" click "Aircraft". Select the mouse presets, then set your hover key to something you can hit really fast and easy, preferably on your mouse. After that, check "invert pitch" and set your sensitivity to 0.5.
How to fly:
Press the hover key before starting the engine, press your crouch key to switch to third person (by default it's ctrl), press "R" to start the engine, then hold down "W" until you're well above the spawn town but not above the mountains. Press the hover key again to toggle hover mode off and use your mouse to control the chopper, along with "W" to go up and "S" to go down. If you see you're losing control of the chopper, press the hover key and wait until it evens out. While in hover mode, you can press "A" or "D" to change directions easily. When you want to land, find a good, FLAT, roof and turn hover on. While descending with "S", make sure to press "R" to slow down (and eventually stop) the engine.
There you go, all about choppers!
(Credits to Bats for the controls and somewhat how to fly, credits to Hunt for forcing me to add the choppers!)
